4th of July is my absolute favorite holiday!!! Time with family, no big expectations, stress or presents! And of course the best part is the FIREWORKS!!! I love Fireworks!!! It doesn't take much to make me happy! ❤❤❤

Easter in two weeks....back to basics for me

I've been busy making more Easter cards. Taking a rest from the real "Artsy" and gone back to the basics---stamping and card making. That is where my "mixed media" journey began many years ago and I am having fun getting back to "my roots". Some of my cards are listed and selling in my Etsy Shop---what fun!!! I had great success selling my Chinese New Year  cards on Etsy, and now my St. Patty's Day cards are beginning to sell too! How fun to open my email and find another sale.

I seem to be back in the "creative zone"! "Theme Thursday Challenge" is another challenge blog that I love. This week the theme is "BUSY" and I just finished a page in one of my art journals that is quite busy!! So here it is...

My "Art Creations Friday" belated entry for this week...

Do you ever participate in any of the online art challenges? One of my favorites is the Art Creations Friday Blog.  Art Creations Friday is a lovely Blog Challenge site hostessed by Vintage Wil, Hermine, Femmy, and Pepeetje  every week. Every friday they post a new challenge, a picture or a background. In order to participate in the challenge, you must use that picture or background to make an atc or card, or something else you like, add your art work to your blog and a add a direct link under the comments section on the Art Creations Friday Blog. This week they offered both an image and a background. The background was bluish-gray---a real challenge for me (hahaha)!!! Here is my contribution....

It's a new year and a new venture for me! I have always loved to make fun, paperlicious creations for friends and family, and have finally decided to jump into the world of Etsy and offer my handmade "with love" creations to all of you!
